The Friends of the Lowe Public Library are selling tote bags for $15.  The tote bag design of blue and gold colors is on display at the circulation desk.  Proceeds benefit the Friends of the Lowe Public Library.  Checks and cash are accepted.  Please make checks payable to "Friends of the Lowe Public Library".

The Dabblers Art Group meets the first, third, and fourth Thursday from 1:00-3:00 in the library.  Please note: these meetings are not art classes.

The Friends of the Lowe Public Library meet the last Tuesday of each month except June, July, August, and December.  To learn about becoming a friend of the library, contact the library at (304) 592-1700.  Membership is $10 per year.

The Lowe Public Library is now issuing "West Virginia's Northern Library Network" cards.  This lists applicants as patrons of the Lowe Public Library and allows access to area libraries.  We are on the new electronic system now.  Please make sure you have your new NORLN card before checking out books.
 
Donations for the Lord's Pantry and Humane Society are accepted at the library year round.  Let's remember those who are less fortunate.  Items most needed are pet food, bleach, and cat litter.
